-----------------------------------------------------------------

Ion theatre is excited to announce the relaunch of its highly acclaimed ACTOR ACADEMY with new dates kicking off on May 21, 2018 at ion’s URBN CNTR 4THE ARTS in Hillcrest. All classes are taught by award-winning actor, director and producer Claudio Raygoza (Founder/Executive Artistic Director, ion theatre company).

Featuring in-depth course work in scene study, deep text analysis, auditions, cold readings, improvisation, voice and movement, these classes have featured several of San Diego’s most recent award-winning actors in multiple categories including two recent Actors of the Year.

Classes will give seasoned actors a place to exercise their skills, while new students in the intro classes will learn the basics. For beginning classes, skills learned easily transfer to stage work or to other scenarios where public speaking and confidence-building are essential.
